Which Conspiracy Theory to Believe?

Government conspiracy theory -Nineteen Islamic radicals, mostly Arabs conspired to frustrate American air defenses and successfully destroy two skyscrapers with conventional steel cores by fire when most of the fuel was oxidized in the vapor cloud explosion outside the buildings. They also managed to damage the only reinforced and sparsely occupied section of the Pentagon while avoiding the offices of Rumsfeld and the Joint Chiefs. In response, the Bush Administration aids the departure of Saudi personnel from the U.S., and invades Afghanistan to kill Osama bin Laden, and invades Iraq to punish it for 911 ... oops, Iraq was not involved ... ah ... to eliminate weapons of mass destruction ... ooops, none were found, not even the poison mustard and sarin gases the U.S. gave to Saddam Hussain ... ah ... to kill a tyrant we supported and impose democracy at the point of a gun .... that worked ... Americans were induced to support an unprovoked invasion of a foreign country.

If you believe this as the Downsizer folks do, then you must consider its ramifications.

Alternate conspiracy theory -

First understand that world and American history is fraught with False Flag events. Some are delinated in the chronology. Refer to "A People's History of the United States (1492 - present)", copyright 2003, by Howard Zinn. In this history, many "false flags" are noted, and the truth of the matter is presented. There is ample historical precident for 911 as a False Flag event for profit as well as power.

At its inception, the WTC had asbestos insulation, air conditioning and other problems. In 1977 galvanic corrosion problems were discovered. After a ten-year study, it was decided that the $5.6 billion cost to dismantle and rebuild the World Trade Center (WTC) was too expensive ($20 billion in 2001), according to deposition. Implosion was not allowed by the EPA.	A group of men who had shared the goal of U.S. world domination since before the Nixon Administration gradually attain higher government office until they control the entire Executive Branch. They need a "new Pearl Harbor" (False Flag 5) to motivate Americans to support the invasion of foreign countries without provocation in order to destabilize the Middle East, and reinforce Israel as the first major step in their plan for U.S. world domination.
The Straussian neocons learn of the WTC issues and arrange for a firm managed by Bush brothers and a cousin to be in charge of security for the WTC, Dulles airport and United Airlines (means). The security company hires people of like mind to install demolition wiring in WTC 1, 2 and 7 as part of the security upgrade. The group enlist a sympathetic developer who owned the lease for WTC 7 to acquire the leases for WTC 1, 2, 4 and 5 and the right to rebuild them. He specifically insures the buildings against terrorist attack.
The Thursday before 9/1/2001 bomb-sniffing dogs are removed from WTC 1 and 2, and the following weekend power outages (opportunity) are used as the excuse to exclude non-involved personnel from the target buildings while thermate charges are installed and connected to the pre-existing wiring. The Web cameras on top of the buildings are disabled so they will not broadcast the vibration caused by the thermate detonations.	The Bush administration gradually redeploys air defense wings away from the target area, and conducts a series of exercises that temporarily draw the remaining air defense forces away from the area (means), leaving only eight interceptors. Immediately before and during 9/1/2001, the air defense exercises involve hijacked aircraft that are used as weapons. These exercises confuse the air defense decision-makers long enough to avoid interference with the attacks on WTC 2, WTC 1, the Pentagon and perhaps a fourth target (Flight 93) should stand-down orders by Cheney be miscommunicated or ignored, particularly by the anti-aircraft missile defense teams at the Pentagon and the White House.
The implosion of the WTC is declared an Act of Terror rather than an Act of War, so Silverstein and his accomplices can collect on the insurance twice, once for each plane attack despite both being part of the same conspiracy for a profit of $5.5 billion and the cost of dismanteling the towers is avoided, saving its owner $15 billion before the construction of more profitable replacement buildings can begin. A detailed analysis of stock market activity reveals that Puts on the stock of companies that would suffer from 9/11 and Calls on the stock of companies that would benefit far exceeded normal activity for a profit of between $2 and $4 million for the inside traders.	Afghanistan is invaded at taxpayer expense, and the Taliban are deposed as promised by UNOCAL representatives during their meeting with Taliban representatives in Germany for failing to agree to UNOCAL terms to secure a pipeline through Afghanistan to supply the Enron power plant in India with sufficiently inexpensive gas to avoid a $2.4 billion loss and export the excess for profit in the trillions of dollars. The CIA or moles in the Northern Alliance help Osama bin Laden escape U.S. military attempts to kill him.
Taxpayers pay for the removal of the WTC debris and the medical cost of inhaling its dust.	Iraq is invaded at taxpayer expense to provide a centralized point of control in the region and reconnect an old petroleum pipeline to Israel. Billions in cash confiscated by U.S. troops in Iraq disappear. The military-industrial-security-government complex in general and the Carlyle Group, Haiburton, Custer Battles and other friends of Cheney in particular handsomely profit from no-bid contracts for supporting the Afghanistan and Iraq invasions and reconstruction, including the construction of permanent U.S. military bases in Afghanistan. Plans for permanent U.S. military bases in Iraq were unfunded by Congress (6/07), but construction of military bases and a massive U.S. embasy continues.

If you believe this, then you must deal with those who don't, and be concerned with the near and not so distant future.

It is best to get a sense of history before plunging into the details of 9/11, so I recommend reading the following in chronological order. The history of the U.S. is a history of False Flags in which dramatic events are used to motivate Americans to war. It was only until 1997 that files were unsealed to validate false flag 5, Pearl Harbor. It will likely be equally revealing when the Kennedy assassination files are opened in 2013.
